History
July 11th, 2007, Joan Summers arrived in New Haven in search of a place to stay. She had nothing with her but a beat up sports car that barely drove, a suitcase full of clothing, and no money to get the car fixed. Upon arrival, the first thing Joan did was find a mechanic who could fix her car. As she had no money to pay the mechanic with, the man agreed to fix the car- if she would work in the garage to pay off the bill. Joan was disgusted by the idea of working in a dirty, grimy, disgusting garage- but she didn’t have much choice. It seemed she would have to get her hands dirty.

Once everything was set up, Joan set out to find a place to stay while he worked on her car. Joan got up every morning, took a shower, drove to garage, spent the day working on cars, then drove home, took a shower, and went to bed. For a month, she lived perfectly happy this way. That was, until August 13th, when Joan was pulled over on her way home.

Expecting nothing more than a warning for speeding, or perhaps a ticket, Joan was shocked when instead, the officer who approached her car declared that she was under arrest for grand theft auto. Her nice sports car had been listed as stolen on July 12th, along with a missing persons report for a girl named Anna Lack. The officer handcuffed an angry Joan, and put her in the back of his car, taking her down to the station to be questioned.

At the station, Joan underwent a series of questioning and interrogations. When Joan was unable to produce any form of identification, the police had a DNA test taken. The shocking result- the test showed that her DNA matched perfectly with that of Anna Lack, the missing woman. Joan refused to believe it, swearing that the test was wrong, mistaken, and that they must had gotten the results mixed up. The police ended up calling in the Lack family to meet with her. There was something about the older man and his two sons that jarred Joan to her core. The police released her to the care of the man, Allen Lack, who finished paying off the car repairs and offered her a place to stay for as long as she needed it.

Joan grudgingly accepted the offer, and as she spent time at the Lack house, she began to realize that the memories of her past were hazy. It greatly disturbed her. When Allen heard about it, he was ecstatic, and told Joan that it was because she was finally going to remember that she was really Anna. This irritated and angered Joan so much that she was almost to the point of leaving- when Allen finally offered a truce. He would pay for her to seek professional help, if she wanted. She accepted on the terms that if the doctors agreed with her, that she wasn’t Anna, that Allen wouldn’t mention it again. So it happened that Joan signed herself into Cherry Hollow.

This journal is completely fictious, as is Anna/Joan. It's all part of my vivid imagination. I have no connection to Avril Lavigne, I merely use her image for this character. Anna/Joan is a patient at amplified_rpg.
